Delete your account

How to delete your TomorrowX Summit account and the data collected by the TomorrowX Summit app, published by TomorrowX Summit, LLC.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open the TomorrowX Summit app and sign in.
  2. Go to the You tab.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm. Your account is deactivated immediately and you are signed out on every device.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, or you cannot sign in, email info@tomorrowxsummit.com with the subject line “Account deletion request” from the email address on your registration. We will verify that the request came from you and confirm by email once it is complete. You may also use the same address to request a copy of your data before it is deleted.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted we deactivate your registration and remove or disable:

  • Your attendee profile (name, photo, company, title, bio) from the attendee directory and People.
  • Your posts, comments, likes, and uploaded photos, videos, and files in the feed.
  • Your direct messages and group chat participation.
  • Who you follow and the notifications sent to you.
  • Your push notification tokens and signed-in devices.
  • Hashed contact matches created when you connected your phone’s address book, Google Contacts, or Outlook contacts, and the free/busy availability shared from a connected calendar.

You can also remove individual connections without deleting your account: under You › Connections you can disconnect Contacts or a connected calendar at any time, which deletes the matched hashes or availability we hold for that connection.

What is kept, and for how long

  • A restricted archive of the deleted account is kept so we can restore it if the deletion was made in error and to meet the obligations below. It is not visible to other attendees and is not used for matching, messaging, or notifications. To have the archive erased without waiting, say so in your email request and we will confirm once it is done.
  • Event registration, ticketing, invoicing, and compliance records (for example eligibility verification) are retained for as long as required by law, our agreements with event partners, and our records retention policies, as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • Aggregated or de-identified usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you.
